If you catch Angela Zindars on her lunch break, don’t be surprised if she’s focused on the screen of her tablet.

Angie Zinders

“I love to read!” Angie shares. “So most days, you will find me with my Nook or Kindle app open during my lunch breaks.”

Angie’s curiosity for reading and learning have served her well not only in her personal life but her career too.

After growing up in the small town of Newman, Ill.  (40 minutes southeast of Champaign), Angie graduated from Eastern Illinois University. Right after college, she tried her hand at banking, and she’s never looked back.

Experienced Banker

Over the last 19 years of her career, Angie has worked her way up in the banking world, serving as a teller, personal banker, branch trainer, assistant manager, branch operations supervisor and branch manager for other local banks.

Now we’re excited to announce that Angie is the new branch manager for INB’s Champaign office.

“The more I learn about INB, the more parallels I see of what I think of as real community banking the way it should be,” she shares.

Angie and her husband Paul live in Mahomet with their son Oliver. If she’s not working or reading, Angie also enjoys watching sports and movies and playing with Oliver.

Community Connections

Angie devotes time to her community as well, singing on her church’s Praise Team and serving as a member of the Women’s Business Council of Champaign County.

“The best part of being a member of the Women’s Business Council is for the friendships that I’ve made and been able to grow during my time,” Angie says. “This organization is a great way to network with fellow businesswomen for referrals as well as community outreach and philanthropic opportunities.”

Welcome to INB, Angie!
