INB Fairmount & Fisher National Bank Transition

INB has reached an agreement with Fisher National Bank to acquire our INB Fairmount branch, subject to regulatory approval. We expect this transition to take place on October 24, 2026.
Here’s what you need to know:
- No action is required from you at this time.
- Your INB accounts will transfer to Fisher National Bank after closing (expected by October 24, 2026). The following accounts will remain with INB, if applicable:
- INB Wealth Brokerage Accounts
- Mortgage Servicing Accounts
- For now, there is no change to your current INB accounts, services, or how you bank with us. In fact, the online and mobile banking experience is expected to maintain the same look and feel under Fisher National Bank.
- 30 days before the transition date, you’ll receive detailed information about any changes you may see from Fisher National Bank.
- As always, be mindful of phone calls claiming to represent INB or other financial institutions. Never click on links from sources you do not know. Never share your personal information with someone who calls or texts you including but not limited to your digital banking login or password, one-time security passcode, PIN #, or your FULL social security number. It is always safe to hang up and call the bank directly.

Do customers need to do anything right now?
No. Customer accounts will continue to operate as they do today. Customers will receive detailed instructions from Fisher National Bank beginning 30 days before final closing.
When will the transition happen?
The acquisition is tentatively expected to close on October 24, 2026. This is subject to typical regulatory approval and other customary closing conditions to ensure a smooth transition.
Will account numbers change?
Not immediately. Any changes required will be communicated well in advance by Fisher National Bank.
Can I continue to use INB debit card and checks?
Yes. Continue using debit card and checks until notified otherwise. Fisher National Bank will reissue new checks and cards.
What happens to my online and mobile banking?
There are no immediate changes. In fact, the online and mobile banking experience is expected to maintain the same look and feel under Fisher National Bank. Fisher National Bank will share information about new login instructions before the official transition.
Will the employees at my branch stay the same?
Yes. One thing that will not change is the friendly team our customers have come to know at the Fairmount Branch.
Are other branches being acquired at this time?
No, the only INB branch that is being transitioned is the Fairmount, IL location.
