Our Hiring Process
At INB, we’re always looking for people who share our commitment to serving customers, supporting our communities, and working together as a team. We know that starting a new job is an important decision, so we’ve designed our hiring process to be simple, transparent, and respectful of your time. Here’s what you can expect:
1. Apply
It only takes about five minutes to submit your application. Every application is reviewed by a hiring manager and/or our HR team. We do not use AI to screen or reject applicants.
2. Prepare
If you’re contacted to set up an interview, we encourage you to learn more about the role and our organization. Helpful resources include our Our Story page, this video, and our Interview and Resume tips below.
3. Interview
Here’s how the interview process typically works:
a. Scheduling - The hiring manager will contact you (by email, phone, or text) to schedule interviews. Some roles begin with a phone or Teams screening, while others move directly to an in-person interview.
b. Interviews - The number and format of interviews vary depending on the role and department.
c. Verbal Offer - If selected, the hiring manager will extend a verbal offer.
d. HR Paperwork - Once you accept, HR will send consent forms for a credit check.
e. CEO Meeting - Every new hire meets with Sarah Phalen, our President and CEO. She values personally welcoming each employee and learning about the skills you bring to INB.
f. Conditional Offer - After your meeting with Sarah, you’ll receive a conditional job offer letter (via email and mail). The offer includes your start date and compensation details, contingent on a background check and drug test.
4. Onboarding
Once your start date is confirmed and all background checks are complete, our HR team will reach out about five days before your first day. You’ll receive everything you need to begin your career at INB with confidence.
