Having worked at a bank since high school, Sherrie Teague’s career has taken her to multiple regional and national banks over the years. But she has found the most satisfaction in community banking.

“I believe we are able to add more value to our customers and to our organization working in a community bank like INB,” she says.

Sherrie has served in many roles, but her passion is treasury management.

“Within treasury management, I have an opportunity to learn about how each business operates and look for ways to partner to resolve issues and add efficiencies to their daily processes using treasury products and services,” she shares.

INB is thrilled to welcome Sherrie’s passion and expertise as she becomes VP, Business Solutions for INB’s Florida market!

Originally born in North Carolina, Sherrie’s family moved to Clearwater, Florida when she was 11 years old. Her banking career, started part-time while in high school, has included the jobs of teller, customer service and manager in branch banking, business banking and treasury operations.

Sherrie and her husband Fred have a blended family with three adult children and four grandchildren. They are also “big animal lovers” and currently have a 100 lb. American Bulldog named Beau.

The couple enjoys anything water-related and loves spending time on their boat visiting small islands and beaches, which they feel fortunate to live around. Their top spot is Sanibel Island. Hosting cookouts with family and friends is another one of their favorite activities.

“Lots of fun times are spent with the grandkids at our house on the swings or zip line we installed,” Sherrie says.

Professionally, Sherrie is a member of the local Association of Financial Professionals (AFP) chapter. And she is involved with several local charitable organizations: American Cancer Society/Relay for Life, Clothes to Kids, Clearwater for Youth, and Habitat for Humanity.

She is pleased to be part of INB’s growing team in Florida and to service all of our treasury clients in the Florida market.

“At INB, I’m looking forward to using my treasury expertise and experience to build a portfolio of new business relationships for INB Florida,” Sherrie says.
