INB’s Samantha Patrick has been selected to participate in the Future Leaders Alliance (FLA) offered through the Illinois Bankers Association (IBA). This 13-month leadership program is dedicated to enhancing the professional development of new and promising bank leaders through education, community service and networking.
Sam’s boss, Gregg Formigoni, VP, mortgage operations manager, says INB is always looking to develop leaders who can take us to the next level.
“Sam has grown up with this bank, knows our customers, and cares about the communities we serve,” Gregg says. “She is one of those people that we recognized as a leader even before she was given a title. She is involved in a number of bank-wide initiatives focused on process improvement. As valuable as Sam is, it’s worth the investment of time to give her the tools needed to continue on her leadership path. It’s an honor, both to Samantha and INB, to have her participate in the training.“
FLA Programming
As part of the program, Sam and the rest of her classmates will attend educational sessions, complete an in-bank project, and perform local community service teaching financial literacy. The education sessions cover core topics such as leadership and influence, team building, coaching, service leadership, collaboration skills, financial marketing, personal branding, legislative process, presentation skills, accounting for bankers, asset liability management, regulatory hot topics, cyber security and more.
