Pay friends instantlyThe world isn’t slowing down anytime soon, and today, we often need to move money as fast as life happens.

Older payments methods like check, cash and even online payments simply aren’t quick enough anymore.

At INB, we’ve launched a new person-to-person (P2P) payment tool through smartphones, tablets or any other device. P2P lives within our INB digital banking and allows you to view and send payments to other people.

Need to send money to your child at college? Want to pay someone back for concert tickets? All you need is a Visa or MasterCard debit to use, and your payment is immediate.

Here’s why our P2P tool is an INB customer’s most reliable, new way to send money…

It’s Simple

Skip the complicated steps and multi-day waiting periods that often come with many other payment programs.

To pay someone, simply open your INB digital banking app (it even has thumbprint and Face ID!) and select a new transaction by tapping Transfers on lower navigation menu. Choose which account to use, who to pay and the amount to send – and then submit. You can pay someone with as little information as their cell phone number within your secure digital banking session on both our website and app.

It’s Instantaneous

Your funds are checked at INB before it approves your transaction; INB puts a hold on your account for that amount of money and, then, when the receiver accepts the payment, we make an instant deposit into his or her account, says Nathan Van Zele, INB’s deposit operations officer.

INB's P2P tool remembers payees and their information – and it’s all encrypted – so if you need to send someone money again in the future, it’s even faster.

It’s Free

Enough said! Why be charged extra for a platform that takes a fee when you need to pay a friend or family member? Payments are free to INB customers.

It’s Secure

“There are a lot of ‘move money’ apps, like Venmo, across the world, but exposing your financial security to some of these companies is a big an added risk,” Nathan says. “For example, the Facebook payment app is convenient, but the app has a history of security and privacy issues. Our P2P tool is very simple, and you don’t have to be a member of any other site or platform.”

With a payment system that’s more secure, free and immediate, it’s easier than ever to keep up with our fast-moving world by using INB’s P2P tool.
