Pleasant Plains High School (PPHS) faculty chose Anna Sprague as its January senior of the month. Anna is involved with many activities at PPHS. She is member of the National Honor Society and serves as treasurer, president of Student Council, Cardinal Ambassador, beta club and science club treasurer. Anna currently participates in track and has done so for three years.

Anna is an Illinois State Scholar and plans to attend Saint Louis University where she has already been awarded the Vice President Scholarship. She plans to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She was selected for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Anna is the daughter of Keely and Keith Sprague of Springfield.

The Senior-of-the-Month Program is sponsored by Illinois National Bank. Monthly winners receive a $50 award. They are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year Award also sponsored by INB.
