Lots of students work hard to try to get scholarships, and for Macy Lingleo, her hard work paid off.  She plans to attend Southeast Missouri State (SEMO) on a full tuition scholarship.  Along with that she has also been named an Illinois State Scholar, was nominated for the All-State Academic Team, was Sangamon County’s student of the month and was nominated for student of the year, was on the superior honor roll, and is April’s student of the month for Riverton High School.

Macy also serves on the Student Council.  She participates in both the Hark Team and in Hawk Pride.  She is a part of Teens Against Drugs and Alcohol (TADAA) and was on the 2017 Homecoming Court.  Macy was inducted into the National Honor Society and plays on both the basketball and the soccer team.  She has earned first team All-Conference three times and honorable mention All-Sectional twice for soccer.

The Senior-of-the-Month Program is sponsored by Illinois National Bank. Monthly winners receive a $50 award. They are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year Award also sponsored by INB.
