At INB, we believe whole-heartedly in serving our local communities in addition to cultivating excellent customer relationships.
In Springfield, we invest in causes and programs such as the Springfield Park District, SPARC, Hope School and Fifth Street Renaissance Veterans Shelter. Since opening in 1999, we’ve donated over $800,000 to United Way of Central Illinois, with almost two-thirds of the total coming directly from employees.
One of INB’s largest annual projects is the Kids Café. In 2015, we sent more than 150 kids in the local school district home with two large shopping bags filled with food and drinks to ensure they have enough to eat over spring break.
And we not only serve in the Springfield community, where we are largely based, but also in the central Illinois towns where our branches are located. We contribute to the Peoria Downtown Development Corp., Danville Community Ag Day, Riverton and Pleasant Plains High Schools, and Christmas on Vinegar Hill in Mt. Pulaski.
Across the INB culture, employees are encouraged to volunteer with non-profit organizations of their choice. From serving on boards to participating in or organizing fundraising events, we strive to keep our communities a wonderful place to live and work.
