INB Senior Management Changes

INB recently added to its senior management team to assure proper oversight of the bank’s growing customer base.  Mark Donovan and Jeremy Frieburg are now reporting to President and CEO Sarah Phalen.

Mark Donovan was promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mark has been with INB for almost 20 years and has served in many roles. He was in commercial lending for 15 years, and in the last five years, he assumed operational responsibility in areas such as Deposit Operations, Treasury Support and Remittance Processing. This combination of a sales background with operations assures Mark will always keep our clients in focus.

Reporting Change

Jeremy Frieburg joined INB in February 2021 as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO). He has many years of experience in technology and has elevated our technical capabilities and strengthened our internal IT team. Technology is very important to the future of INB as virtually all of growth strategies include the use of technology. Adding Jeremy to the senior management group assures IT has a voice at the top.

New Role

Since the day the bank opened in 1999, Tom Gihl held the COO position and was responsible for technology. With Mark and Jeremy taking on these responsibilities, Tom can now focus on attracting and retaining commercial and municipality customers. Tom's new title is Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
