Springfield, IL (August 7, 2020) -- INB’s Amy Barnes has earned the title of Ramsey Preferred Coach (RPC), assuring she’s ready to help people create start-to-finish financial plans using the philosophy of renowned money expert Dave Ramsey.
Ramsey's approach centers on staying out of debt and building savings. It can work for individuals and families in any income bracket. Being a RPC gives Amy the ability to use Ramsey’s philosophy to help assure clients can fund education expenses and retirement, as well as put aside savings.
Amy joined INB in 2019 because of the bank’s client-centric focus. Allowing her to earn her RPC cemented this belief. “Putting client’s needs first and helping them reach their goals is what drives me. It doesn’t matter where they are in the wealth accumulation process -- saving, establishing a budget, starting retirement savings accounts, buying a home, paying for college, preparing for retirement, or planning their estate. INB’s culture embodies my vision for serving all of my clients.” Amy finds it fulfilling to see someone reach any milestone, knowing she had a part in helping guide them there.
Amy’s impressive resume includes time in the Air Force, a decade of experience working for a Fortune 500 company, and almost 10 years helping people plan their financial futures. Amy holds a BA from St. Ambrose University and is working on her Masters in Finance at Purdue. She has a Series 7 & 66 Securities License, State Life & Health License, and has an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor designation from the College for Financial Planning. She served as a trustee for the Village of Annawan, has served in Rotary and Kiwanis, and is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She will participate in the Leadership Springfield Class of 2021 sponsored by the Springfield Chamber of Commerce.
Because Amy believes financial health goes hand-in-hand with personal satisfaction, she became interested in Ramsey’s philosophy. She’s excited to be able to share the concepts with anyone needing help putting together a financial plan and then executing the plan.
