IRS Provides Answers to Stimulus Questions


On April 15, over 3,000 INB customers received stimulus checks from the federal government.  Please log into your digital account and see if you were part of this number. If you need help signing up for digital banking, please call our Care Center at 1-877-771-2316.

If you didn’t get a deposit from the government, you can check on eligibility and when to expect your payment on the IRS website. INB will not be able to tell you if you will receive a payment or how you will receive it.  You will need your 2018 or 2019 tax return to determine when to expect your payment.

If you aren’t required to file a federal income tax return for 2018 or 2019 and you receive Social Security retirement, disability (SSDI), or survivor benefits or Railroad Retirement benefits, The IRS will direct deposit or mail your Economic Impact Payment to where you normally receive your benefit. If you don’t file taxes and don’t receive these benefits, you need to provide the government with your direct deposit information. If you don’t, a check will be mailed to you.
