Lindsay Van Zele,
Communications Officer
Lindsay Van Zele is an experienced marketing and communications professional known for her energy, creativity, and team-first mindset. She plays a key role in supporting and maintaining INB’s brand presence, collaborating across the bank and building strong relationships within the communities INB serves.
Lindsay began her career with INB in 2004 as a teller in Pleasant Plains and later moved to the Wabash Branch. In 2007, she transitioned to the Marketing Department, where she has continued to expand her role. Today, she manages advertising relationships and contracts, ensuring all media placements are current and accurate, while also serving as the team’s graphic designer, creating visual materials that support both internal and external communications.
In addition, Lindsay assists with event planning and collaborates with her team to develop engaging social media content. She is deeply committed to community involvement, serving as a United Way donor since 2004 and volunteering her time for the United Way Day of Action. She is also an elected Village Board Trustee in Pleasant Plains. Recognized for her leadership potential, Lindsay was recently selected to serve on INB’s Emerging Leaders Council, a program focused on professional development, cross-functional collaboration, and strengthening leadership capabilities across the organization.
Known for her organization, reliability, and enthusiasm, Lindsay brings a “get it done” approach to everything she does. Outside of work, she is a busy mom to two daughters, Addison and Olivia, and spends much of her time supporting their volleyball and basketball activities. Lindsay has been married to her husband and fellow INB employee, Nathan, since 2010, enjoys baking for close friends and family, and is the proud owner of a one-year-old Shih Tzu poodle named Dolly.
