Karyssa first joined INB in July 2020 as a teller at our downtown location. Quickly showing initiative for more responsibility, she relocated to our Wabash Branch in early 2022 to dive into all aspects of bank retail operations.

In September 2022, she was promoted to Branch Operations Supervisor, and in summer 2023, she received another promotion – this time to Assistant Branch Manager/Branch Management Trainee at Wabash.

Karyssa says her time at INB has been “nothing short of amazing,” and she has appreciated the opportunity to learn in each role she’s had. She now serves as INB Wabash Branch Manager.

“I am passionate about my Wabash team; I want them each to thrive here at the bank, and I do my best to support them in any way I can,” Karyssa shares. “Becoming branch manager has always been a goal, but to come this far in less than four years is something I am proud of. I would not have been able to do these things if it weren’t for my coworkers and family!”

A native of Abingdon, IL, Karyssa landed in Jacksonville after attending MacMurray College, earning her bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration with a minor in finance. When she’s off the clock, she and her husband enjoy time with their son and all of his activities.
