Boris Habimana,

VP, Private Banker

NMLS # 2032105

Boris Habimana speaks four languages – in addition to English, he’s also fluent in French and Swahili – and he thrives on building connections with new people across the globe.

“I’m always working to make a positive impact on everyone with whom I meet or interact with!” he says.

Originally from Rwanda in East Africa, Boris immigrated to the United States in 2012, bringing extensive banking experience with him. He began his career working at a call center at a large bank in Rwanda, an opportunity that opened doors in both banking and project management in that region. After moving to the U.S., he pivoted to retail banking, where he spent 12 years.

Today, Boris serves as VP, private banker for INB Florida. He was drawn to INB for its mission-driven approach and dedicated team, and he most enjoys partnering with clients to help them achieve their financial goals and milestones.

Boris is married to his wife Holly and has an 8-year-old son. In addition to being with his family, he spends time outside of the office playing and watching sports, following past and current global geo-political trends, and traveling and exploring new places. He also gives back to his local community by serving as a member of the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce Minority Business Accelerator Council.
