Wendy Campbell,

AVP, Mt. Pulaski Branch Manager

NMLS # 610990

A native of Decatur, Wendy earned her degree in Human Resources with a focus on Business Management from Millikin University and began her career intending to work in the human resources department of a local hospital. However, when the department restructured, she accepted a position with Merrill Lynch as an office manager, launching her career in finance.

During that time, Wendy earned her Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses and then worked in the financial industry across Illinois and Arkansas – where she also married and started a family of three children. In 2008, she entered the banking industry, taking on a variety of roles including Relationship Banker, Branch Manager, and Deposit Operations Manager.

Today, Wendy serves as AVP, Branch Manager for INB Mt. Pulaski, leading her team with a holistic approach and building lasting relationships with customers throughout their financial journeys at each stage of life.

“I value the hometown atmosphere, and this branch truly reflects that sense of community. Knowing I have made a positive difference for my customers is incredibly rewarding,” she says. “My goal as a manager is to be someone people want to work for and learn from – who genuinely wants to see them succeed both personally and professionally.”

Wendy was drawn to INB for the chance to work in a small-town environment while still having access to the resources and capabilities of a larger bank. After years “behind the scenes,” she enjoys being in a customer-facing role and contributing to the communities INB serves, having previously been involved with nonprofits like Make-A-Wish, Kiwanis, and CASA.

In her personal time, Wendy enjoys baking and experimenting with new recipes, often inspired by her travels. She loves exploring unique restaurants (especially those featured on the Food Network!) and discovering new spices and ingredients, which she often brings home to incorporate into her cooking. She also values time outdoors, particularly camping, and quiet weekends reading. But her greatest joy is time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
