Natalie Cain,
AVP, South Sixth Street Branch Manager
NMLS # 1183653
Natalie Cain serves as AVP, Branch Manager of INB’s South 6th Street branch in Springfield. In this role, she strives to foster a customer-focused environment, support her team’s professional growth, and help every customer who walks through the doors feel valued and understood.
“INB is a good fit for me because our focus is customer service, and I love that. We put customers first, which is very important to me,” she says.
Natalie began her banking career in 2006 as a teller at another bank and steadily advanced through positions including vault teller, teller supervisor, banker, assistant branch manager, and interim branch manager. She joined INB in 2020 as a Quality Control Specialist, reviewing all newly opened accounts, performance maintenance on accounts, and more. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence quickly earned her a promotion to branch leadership.
While her time in INB’s back office deepened her understanding of operations, Natalie found she missed customer interaction. A self-described “people person,” she loves connecting with customers face-to-face and building relationships.
“From helping them consolidate debts, opening their first accounts or giving financial advice, I enjoy it all,” she says.
Natalie also connects with the community through her involvement with the Kings Daughters Organization, a volunteer organization dedicated to the support and well-being of local seniors. “It feels good to give back to the community and volunteer my extra time. I greatly appreciate that INB encourages us to be part of the community in this way,” she says.
Outside of her work and volunteer time, Natalie loves making memories with her husband, two sons, and their French bulldog, Zeek, and German Shepherd, Drama – whose name suits her well! While Natalie jokes that her family hibernates in the winter months, they enjoy many outdoor activities in the warm weather, like throwing bags, going for walks, or heading to the pool.
