Kelley Himmelberg, VP, Director of HR

What was your favorite childhood toy or game? I’m aging myself, but when I was growing up there weren’t television shows on all day that were age appropriate. So, my brother and I played board games often. I remember that one of our favorites was Chinese Checkers. Sometimes we would be two colors to make the game more challenging.

What’s your favorite lunch spot near work and why? My favorite place is at the 425 building kitchen bar. Other employees come in as they heat up their meals or get an afternoon cup of coffee. I get to visit with a different person each day. It is a great downtime for the middle of the day, and I usually go away laughing with a smile on my face!

Audra Von De Bur, Remittance Services Supervisor

What’s your favorite holiday or time of year and why?

Halloween is my favorite holiday because it falls during my favorite time of year. I love the crisp fall air, the changing leaves, and especially all things pumpkin—pumpkin patches, pumpkin pie, and pumpkin-scented everything. What makes Halloween even better is the spooky, thrilling atmosphere that comes with it. I get excited about haunted houses, scary movies, wiener roasts and all the creepy decorations. There’s something magical about the mix of fun and fright that makes Halloween feel truly special to me.

What was your very first job?

My first job was working for an eye doctor, and it was the only customer-facing role I’ve ever had. It turned out to be a great experience for a first job, giving me the chance to learn how to interact with the public in a professional setting. I really liked the job and found it rewarding. It taught me a lot about responsibility, communication, and how to manage tasks while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for.

Courtney Maszkiewicz, Customer Care Consultant

What’s a song that always puts you in a good mood?

“We Are Family” by Sister Sledge

Where’s the best place you’ve ever visited/favorite vacation spot, and why?

My favorite vacation spot was when me and my family vacationed in Hawaii. It was the last family trip before mom passed. She was hesitant to parasail, and I talked her into flying tandem with me. The laugh and smile on her face was priceless.

Tina Baker, Remittance Specialist

If you could take an unlimited, all-expenses-paid vacation, where would you go and why?

If I had an all-expenses-paid vacation, it would be to Disney World and to go see my dad who moved to Florida two years ago.

What’s your favorite holiday or time of year and why?

My favorite holiday is Halloween because my daughter was born in October and we celebrated together every year.

Mary Belford, Mortgage Funding Manager

What was your very first job?

My first job was at Chuck E Cheese, and I LOVED IT! I was a cashier, birthday party attendant, and occasionally “Chuck E”. I still have great memories dancing, singing, and making cotton candy. So fun!

If you could take an unlimited, all-expenses-paid vacation, where would you go and why?

Definitely Paris! I took French in high school and would love to visit one day!! I am obsessed with the culture.

Larry Hale, Courier

What’s your favorite way to spend a long weekend?

My favorite way to spend on a long weekend is playing golf.

Jon Filbrun, Director of Closing

If you could take an unlimited, all-expenses-paid vacation, where would you go and why?

If we are talking everything-paid, unlimited budget, I am going right to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, to let my inner child run wild on the franchise that I have loved since I was a kid. Unlimited trips on the Millennium Falcon, building lightsabers, the Droid Depot, and soaking in a galaxy far, far away….

Where’s the best place you’ve ever visited/favorite vacation spot, and why?

This one is tough. I have been to some fun places, but the one I have been to the most would be in Kansas City, Missouri at Arrowhead Stadium. Give me a weekend trip down there to cruise around, eat some BBQ, and feel the energy and thrill of a football game anytime.

Karyssa Pedersen, Branch Manager

What’s a song that always puts you in a good mood?

Any song by Morgan Wallen instantly lifts my mood. I love his music — there’s just something about his voice and lyrics that hits the right note every time. And seeing him live in concert? Even better!

Where’s the best place you’ve ever visited/favorite vacation spot, and why?

Since I was young, my family has made annual trips to the Great Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, TN. There’s truly nothing like waking up to the peaceful, quiet mornings in the mountains and soaking in everything the area has to offer. I can’t wait to keep this tradition going with my own family — it’s a place that always feels like home.

Ruth Kombe, Branch Operations Supervisor in Bloomington

If you could take an unlimited, all-expenses-paid vacation, where would you go and why?

I would visit Brazil. I am fascinated by their culture, specifically their food and music.

What’s a song that always puts you in a good mood?

Any upbeat Christian song.
