Amanda Johnson has been a driving force at INB since she joined in April 2023, bringing a passion for collaboration and strategy that has transformed how projects are managed.

Now, her leadership is being recognized with a promotion to Assistant Vice President, Director of IT Operations Improvement and Project Management!
A creative team player and self-described extrovert, Amanda thrives on building lasting relationships and collaborating with others. This makes INB a natural fit for her.
“I like working with multiple departments on a variety of projects,” Amanda says. “I enjoy being able to make an impact on a project’s success.”
Since arriving at INB, Amanda has been instrumental in establishing and formalizing our project management office. Her strategic direction has successfully guided multiple technology and operational initiatives, resulting in significantly improved efficiency and positive project outcomes.
In her new role, Amanda will assume additional responsibility for IT operational improvement. She’ll lead efforts to foster a results-driven culture focused on performance optimization. This includes overseeing process redesign, managing change initiatives, and developing and monitoring quality metrics to ensure continued excellence within the IT department.
Amanda’s broad skillset includes expertise in project and event management, community outreach, marketing, and communications. Prior to joining INB, she spent 12 years managing Memorial’s Festival of Trees, a Christmas-themed fundraising event for Memorial Hospital in Springfield.
Coming on board at INB, she has enjoyed diving into IT and the ever-changing technology within the banking industry.
“I have learned so much from my colleagues at INB, who have an incredible amount of institutional knowledge,” she says. “INB encourages personal growth and supports its employees’ development. I recently received my Prosci Change Practitioner certification, which will enable me to lead organizational change.”
There’s no doubt Amanda’s leadership will continue to be instrumental in INB’s growth and success, and she’s eager to continue making an impact.
“I'm excited to be able to add more value, and I look forward to working with the IT team on continuous improvement and optimizing operational efficiency and quality,” she shares.
