Courtney Jones had heard about INB’s positive work culture from friends she knew on staff. And she was glad to find out when she started working here that all the praise rang true.
“INB treats their employees great. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else,” she says.
This kind of work environment makes Courtney devoted to her job. And her hard work has not gone unnoticed. We’re congratulating Courtney on her recent promotion to Officer, Commercial Loan Coordinator!
Training, Experience Lead to INB Career
Courtney attended Ashworth University with a degree in Human Resource Management. She started her banking career in 2009 and has worked in commercial lending for 10 years. In that time, she has gained extensive experience with accounts payable/receivable, financial analysis, monthly account reconciliation, data entry and customer service.
At INB for nearly seven years now, Courtney wears many hats: she is currently INB's Sageworks specialist and helps all the lenders input their loans into the system and trains new employees on it. She is also in charge of reviewing all commercial loan files before they close to ensure there are no errors and all necessary documents are in the file.
In addition, she processes loans. Courtney has proven to be a great asset to our team.
“I really enjoy the people I work with. They’re all great people,” Courtney says.
Music, Beaches, Family and Friends Fill Up Free Time
When she’s not on the clock, Courtney spends her weekends with her friends, husband and children. They especially love to attend music concerts. And when she’s ready to escape the Midwest, her favorite spot is Hilton Head, South Carolina. “I love the beaches and just the overall community,” she says.
We’re so pleased to have Courtney as part of our Commercial Lending department, and we’re looking forward to this next step in her career.
“I’m very excited about my promotion. I’m hoping to be able to continue to grow and learn,” she says.
