INB Branch Manager Andi Whalen recently was recognized for her exceptional business and community leadership by being named one of 20 under 40. The recognition is sponsored by Pantagraph Media. Andi was recognized in Bloomington at the Leaders of Distinction Awards ceremony sponsored by the McLean County Chamber of Commerce.

After the Sept. 30 event, President and CEO Sarah Phalen posted to LinkedIn, “Proud to support our very own Andi Whalen as she received an award for 20 Under 40 . . . We are honored to work with so many talented people.”

First Job? Likes/Dislikes?

My first job was at a credit union as a teller. I enjoyed building relationships with people. I disliked the atmosphere, which inspired me to get into leadership where I could set the tone.
