Denise Lindsay grew up in Greendale, Wis., and moved to Arizona to attend college. Her college roommate introduced her to the mortgage industry, and Denise became a loan processor in 1993.
She continued working in mortgage even as she moved back to Wisconsin. While there, she met and married her husband. The couple then spent five years living in Reno, Nev., where Denise started a partnership with a realtor and became the vice president of the third largest mortgage/real estate office in Reno working in wholesale mortgage.
Eventually, Denise found her way to east-central Illinois, first starting a mortgage company in Sullivan before working for banks in Decatur and Champaign.
Today, Denise serves as assistant vice president, mortgage lender for INB’s Champaign office, working with clients to get them into their dream homes.
Outside of the office, Denise and her husband enjoy camping and trail riding; they travel around the United States riding side-by-sides, quads and dirt bikes.
Denise’s passion is “doggy rescue,” and her family currently has four dogs and one cat – in addition to her stepson who is pursuing his Ph.D. at Virginia Tech. She is also heavily involved in the Champaign community with Business Network International, Synergy and Master Network. In 2019, Denise served as chairperson for a major fundraising event benefiting the Chez Veterans Center.
In her role with INB, Denise works from the Keller Williams Realty office.
