At 5:00 p.m. on October 21st, 2016, our Post Falls location located at 1729 E. Seltice Way, Post Falls, ID 83854 will close. The closure of this location has been a difficult decision, but the relatively low levels of deposits at this location along with the decline in the number of customers who use a physical branch vs. online and mobile banking channels has made this the logical business decision.
All services offered at this location will be available at our Coeur d’Alene and Hayden locations, located at 955 W Ironwood Dr., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814 and 30 W. Prairie Ave., Coeur d’Alene ID 83815, respectively. Both of the locations include a drive-thru ATM and the Hayden location is open on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Your banking needs can be serviced here or any other INB location. All deposit accounts will be transferred to our Coeur d’Alene location. No changes will be necessary on your part for the transfer.
Safe deposit box customers can come in to our Post Falls location prior to 5:00 p.m. on October 21st to transfer their box to another INB location. After 5:00 p.m. on October 21st, all safe deposit boxes will be securely transported to our Coeur d’Alene location at 955 W Ironwood Dr., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.

Why is INB closing its Post Falls location?
Closing the Post Falls INB was a difficult decision. However, as more and more customers are adopting online banking, mobile banking, and mobile deposit we determined it best to consolidate our efforts into one location only 5 miles away at our Coeur d’Alene INB.

INB is profitable and well capitalized. Each market INB serves is different and we must make sound decisions to ensure we are as efficient as possible and can best serve those communities. After a thorough assessment of the Post Falls market and the close proximity to two other INB locations, this was the best decision moving forward.

Where should I go if I need in-person service?

What do I do about my safe deposit box?
You may transfer the contents of your box to any of our other locations without any charge. On October 24th, the safe deposit boxes at Post Falls will be transferred by security guards and armored car service to the Coeur d’Alene location.
Will the closure have any effect on my accounts?
No, your accounts will remain “as is” and will not be impacted by the closure.
Does this affect my FDIC Insurance?
No. All deposits on hand at any INB location are collectively insured under current FDIC limits. Ask an INB banker for details if you have additional questions.
Where will the staff from the Post Falls Location be relocated?
The employees will relocate to our other locations in North Idaho, Spokane, or The Palouse. All existing employees will remain employed at INB.
