Employees Volunteer to Support Communities We Serve
Our employees routinely throw their support behind community organizations through volunteer work. We've helped out at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois by providing a meal and recently participated in a walk to benefit the Sangamon County Animal Control. In Peoria, our branch has been a stop for I Spy A Wish Team Adventure, a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish. Our annual Days of Action for United Way have taken us to the Boys and Girls Club of Springfield to plant flowers and to Johnson Park Place where we built raised garden beds for genHkids. We've also laid mulch on the trails at the Girl Scout Camp and around the trees at Centennial Park.
INB will continue our support organizations that our employees stand behind. We've recently made contributions to the Springfield Frontiers Club, Downtown Springfield Inc., Easter Seals of Peoria, Chatham Chamber of Commerce, the American Heart Association's Central Illinois chapters, the Central Illinois Business Hall of Fame benefiting Junior Achievement, and the Caleb Coogan Memorial 5K in Mt. Pulaski.
Many of our employees use their banking skills to help organizations. Titan Fuel, church councils and the Girls and Boys Scouts all benefit from our employees' time.
Even with financial and staff support, it's the jobs our employees do everyday that show their connection to our community. It's the loan officer working with a new home buyer, helping yet another family establish roots. It's the teller who takes the time to teach customers how to save using an INB debit card, showing we want them to use the benefits we provide. It's our Wealth Strategies team that puts together retirement plans we believe best serve our clients because we don't provide incentives to our team to lead people down any other path other than the one that's right for them. And it's our business lending and treasury services teams that help establish new, local businesses and, then, support these business every step of the way, assuring success for both of our organizations.
We're proud of our employees. We're proud to be part of the Central Illinois community.
