While she was living in Chicago after college, Lindsey Juris was working for an online university when the world of mortgages crossed her path.

“My roommate had a friend that worked for a mortgage company in downtown Chicago and asked if I was interested in learning more about the mortgage industry, so I gave it a shot…and here I am, 16 years later, still in the industry and loving it!” Lindsey shares.
Born and raised in Pontiac, Lindsey attended Pontiac Township High School and Illinois State University, graduating in 2005 with her Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies.
Today Lindsey is excited to join the INB team as AVP, Mortgage Lender for the INB Bloomington office.
“INB has been brought up to me by a few of my realtor’s referral partners during my recent job search. I have heard nothing but great things regarding the mortgage programs as well as the banking side of things,” she says.
Heritage Shapes Lindsey’s Life
Lindsey lives in Bloomington with her 8-year-old son Brooks and is very close to her whole family. Her grandfather met her grandmother in Japan while serving in the Vietnam War and Lindsey’s mother was born in Osaka, Japan, before the family moved to the United States.
“I absolutely love being raised around the Japanese heritage and culture,” she says. “My grandmother lives in Fairbury and still communicates with her relatives and friends in Japan. My mother and father are both retired and living in Bloomington as well; they spend a lot of time with Brooks and spoil him rotten since he happens to be their one and only grandson. And even though my sister lives in Arkansas, she and I are very close, too.”
Lindsey’s son keeps her busy during the evenings and weekends, as she cheers him on during baseball and basketball games. She also enjoys interior design and finds herself constantly helping to coordinate design projects with friends and family because she loves it so much.
Family and Community Integral to Business Success
Community involvement is important to Lindsey as well.
“I partake in my son’s PTO for his elementary school and volunteer any time I can. I hope to become more involved with different business networking groups in the Bloomington/Normal area soon, too,” she says.
In her new role, Lindsey is most looking forward to working with first-time home buyers, helping to make the dream of home ownership come true.
“I am very blessed to have this opportunity, and I’m so fortunate to have INB Bloomington be my new home,” she says.
Please welcome Lindsey, NMLS # 1331799, to INB!
