Caitlin Hecker is the Pleasant Plains High School March senior of the month. She’s received two Good Citizen Awards-one from the Daughters of the American Revolution and the other from Pleasant Plains High School. She’s also been awarded the AP US History Student Award in 2018.

She is president of the National Honor Society, vice president of her class, Cardinal Ambassador math tutor, and member of the beta club. Caitlin is a member of West Side Christian Church in Springfield and is the two and three year-old ministry leader.

Caitlin plans to attend the University of Georgia and major in social studies education. Caitlin is the daughter of Elizabeth and Kevin Hecker of Springfield.

The Senior-of-the-Month Program is sponsored by INB. Monthly winners receive a $50 award. Winners are selected for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. They are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year Award also sponsored by INB.
